Stoneveil Advisory was founded to serve a client profile that conventional security and technology firms are poorly equipped to support — the ultra-high-net-worth principal who needs rigorous, discreet, and operationally coherent advice, not enterprise-grade tooling repackaged for a household.

Dr. Wilson is a globally recognized technology executive with over 35 years leading enterprise IT transformation across gaming, sports, manufacturing, and high technology sectors. As Global Head of Infrastructure and CISO at a multibillion-dollar international company, he built and secured backbone systems powering operations for tens of thousands of employees worldwide.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, graduate certificates from MIT and Harvard, and over 30 industry certifications across cloud, networking, and security. Stoneveil Advisory draws directly on this depth — applying enterprise-grade rigour to private, principal-level environments where the standard playbook does not apply.
Most security advice is written for organisations — defined perimeters, IT departments, and security teams. The UHNW principal operates differently. Their risk surface spans personal identity, household staff, travel, legal structures, family members, advisors, vendors, and reputation. It moves constantly, and it cannot be handed to a helpdesk.
Stoneveil Advisory was built to operate at that intersection — carrying the Chief Information and Resilience Officer function for clients who need the strategic and oversight capability without a full-time internal hire. Every engagement is principal-led, bespoke, and designed to eventually make itself unnecessary: we build the capability, the framework, and the governance — and then we govern it with you, not for you.
The advisory practice is intentionally small. Capacity is limited and client relationships are long-term. We do not take on engagements we cannot serve well, and we do not compete on price.
Confidentiality is not a policy preference — it is designed into how we communicate, document, and operate. Client identities and engagements are never referenced.
We build frameworks, train judgement, and govern controls. We do not create dependency on Stoneveil to manage day-to-day operations.
Enterprise frameworks applied to principal environments create friction and false confidence. Our frameworks are built from the ground up for the UHNW operating context.
Selected methodologies and tools developed through the advisory practice are published openly. Transparency in method builds trust in application.
Framework documentation, scoring models, and reference architectures developed through the advisory practice and published for open use.
